Pennies from the Heart
Pennies from the Heart is a fun, easy and competitive way to support the Ronald McDonald House program of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield, Wisconsin.
Send a donation in honor or in memory of a loved one.
The Ronald McDonald House sends acknowledgements both to the donor and the individual for whom the tribute/memorial gift was made. The card specifies the occasion and names the donor but does not disclose the amount of the gift.
Send a tax-deductible contribution.
Check to see if the company you work for has a matching gifts program.
Share a night.
The Ronald McDonald House asks families to pay $5.00 a night, but for some families even that can be too much. By sponsoring a night or a week, you enable us to continue helping our families.
Collect aluminum pull-tabs.
Collecting beverage tabs helps raise needed funds for the House. Learn more about the recycling program.
Volunteer your time!
We need and rely on volunteers. A variety of day, evening and weekend shifts are available. All training is provided by our House managers, Director, or other experienced volunteers. Most volunteers commit to a 2-3 hour shift once a week. Our volunteers provide us with office work, light housekeeping, checking families in or out, cooking and baking, writing thank you notes, stocking the pantry, and a host of other talents. If you are interested in becoming a part of our team, please contact the House for a tour and an application form.
Consider planned giving.
Have you remembered Ronald McDonald House in your will or estate plans? Consider planned giving of a bequest in a will, a gift annuity, stocks and bonds, remainder trusts, and/or insurance policies. Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consult your tax advisor.
Join our “Meal-A-Month” Club.
Create a casserole supper, cook on our gas grill, order in a pizza, prepare a breakfast, stew, soup or chili. Bring in a prepared meal for RMH volunteers to set up and serve or come in to prepare and serve the meal yourself.
