Recycling Program

Why collect pull-tabs?

Pull-tabs are easy to collect and allow for any individual or community organization to participate. Tabs are also smaller and cleaner than aluminum cans. A local recycler picks up the pull-tabs donated to the RMH. There the tabs are weighed and cashed in. It is part of the ongoing fundraising efforts of the House. The money raised is used to assist the House with programming expenses such as household supplies and utility bills.ALL the collections do add up to make a heartfelt impact in working together to accomplish the mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Marshfield.

Are there special containers for collecting pull-tabs?

YES! The Ronald McDonald House has both large and small pull-tab boxes available. The large cardboard box holds approx. 11,000 tabs while the small box holds approx. 700 tabs. The colorful containers, shaped like a house, can be picked up at our House and can be taken to work or school or club meetings.

The Ronald McDonald House needs your help! Please join this growing effort. Collect beverage tabs in your area. These little pieces of metal make a big difference. Groups of all ages can save tabs to help the environment and help children in need.
