The Jerry Family

God is great! We have been reminded of this every day this year! God has continued to bless our family with the smallest of miracles, including our little Max. Max Daniel was born June 9th, ten weeks early, weighing only 3 pounds 6 ounces.

After his birth, we spent a long month in Marshfield while Max was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. During our stay, we spent much of our time at the Ronald McDonald House. This “home away from home” was sure a blessing. Not only did it provide us with a place to stay, but it also provided us with many meals. There are a large number of volunteers that help make the Ronald McDonald House home to people in similar situations, and we remain grateful for this charity.

We can’t mention our stay in Marshfield without revealing God’s hand at work. The doctors, nurses, and staff in the NICU were unbelievable! We were treated with such kindness and respect during a difficult time in our lives. We are so appreciative of the care given to Max. The staff of the Marshfield NICU will remain in our hearts forever!

Life is slowly returning to normal (whatever that is!) Max is already eight months old and weighing a hopping eighteen pounds. He is such a happy boy and smiles all the time. Sam and Maria absolutely adore their baby brother...

Love, The Jerry’s
