For the month of June, Mabel can be purchased in-person at Ronald McDonald House (803 W North St, Marshfield, WI 54449) or will be found travelling around Wisconsin to visit many local dairy breakfasts! Follow or message us on Facebook to ask where Mabel will be next.

Since the very beginning, Nasonville Dairy has been centered on family. We love living and working in Central Wisconsin – and we believe in giving back to the community. It’s part of our mission as a family-run operation with deep local roots.

How did Mabel get her name?
We lovingly named our new cow, Mabel, after our dear former neighbor, Mabel Schreindl. Throughout the years, Mabel Schreindl was an integral part of our Ronald McDonald House community, residing in a house facing the backyard and watching over our families with care. She would often be found tending to her garden beds, hanging clothes on the line, or taking leisurely walks.
Mabel Schreindl always had time for a friendly chat with our families and staff whenever they spotted her in the backyard. Her presence brought comfort and warmth to our House, and her memory continues to inspire us.
In honor of the incredible bond we shared with neighbor Mabel, we knew that naming our newest addition to the bovine team after her was a fitting tribute. Mabel the cow will carry on her legacy and embody the same spirit of kindness and compassion that Mabel Schreindl exemplified.
